Nissan Navara Leasing Deals – Finance Leasing and Contract Hire
Nissan has built its Navara pick-ups to combine sporty good looks with plenty of muscle underneath the hood. The Navara looks good but more importantly is hardworking, offering greater ground clearance thanks to its high stance and the wide flared wheel arches.
The cabin itself has plenty of space, with a full five seats and dual zone climate control for a comfortable ride. If you need to carry luggage or large items, the back row of seats splits 60:40 and has been designed with a neat folding mechanism to maximise space.
Nissan has also aimed for a luxury saloon feel in the cab, with Sat Nav set into the dash and leather trim. The speed limiter and cruise control are at your fingertips and for entertainment on the move you have the option of playing CDs ad DVDs, stream media via Bluetooth and get great sound from an MP3 player, iPod or USB stick.
But all these fancy features don’t detract from the fact that the Navara is a real workhorse, with a load capacity of more than 1,100kg and the capability to tow 2,700kg on the King Cab (the Double Cab can tow 2,600kg but upgrade to the Outlaw model and you’ll have the ability to tow up to 3,000kg).
In the back, a C-channel tie-down system has been included to ensure that, however awkward your load, it can be tied down safely and securely. Four channels run down the pick-up bed and then four heavy-duty cleats can run wherever you want to ensure you can tie down your load. Ingenious.
Nissan has also made it easy to switch between driving modes, with a rotary switch situated on the dash. For normal conditions use 2WD HGH, which puts power in the rear wheels. If you’re off road in mud or snow, get 50/50 power in the back and front wheels, then if you’re doing some serious off-roading or driving in deep mud, snow or sand, get maximum traction in 4WD LOW.
Safety wise, there are all-round airbags, and Nissan’s electronic Stability Protection automatically turns on the ABS, yaw control and traction control so that you stay in control during evasive manoeuvres.
Whether you’re working away from home or off on an adventure, there are some interesting accessories to help you – the bed tent and bed liner ensure you always have a roof over your head wherever you are, while the plastic tool box means you can tidy away your tools at the end of a long hard day. The aluminium tonneau cover ensures anything underneath it is well protected.
The Navara comes in Double Cab and King Cab versions and there are four models to choose from:
This Double Cab model has cloth seats and a 60:40 foldable rear bench seat.
On the outside it boasts 17in alloy wheels and door mirrors that have indicator/puddle lamps.
One-handed tailgate release is a bonus and there is also a tailgate lock.
The manual air conditioning will ensure you stay cool and comfortable inside the cab, and door mirrors have electric adjustability for ease of use.
The windows in the front and back are all electric, so the driver is in complete control, and the steering wheel is tilt adjustable do you can get the most comfortable driving position – perfect for long drives.
To keep you and your passengers’ safe, there’s ABS with END and Brake Assist, Electronic Stability Programme and airbags for the passenger and driver.
If you have small children, you’ll be glad to know there are two ISOFIX points for anchoring child seats, and for vehicle security a NATS alarm and engine immobiliser.
For entertainment while you’re on the move, you can listen to the radio or CDs – to keep you connected Bluetooth phone connectivity is integrated.
An external cab guard frame is an optional extra.
This model comes in either King Cab or Double Cab versions, and features everything included in the Visia model, but with the addition of a number of stylish features including a chrome grille, front fog lights and body-coloured door mirrors for an even more appealing finish. Inside the cabin the gear knob and steering wheel are finished in leather.
To make access easier there are side steps and a rear step bumper load area. The pick-up bed also features the C-Channel moveable tie-down point to make securing your loads a breeze.
For safety, there are side and curtain airbags and three-point rear seatbelts – two in the King Cab, three in the Double Cab. And, if you have a young family, you’ll get peace of mind from the presence of two ISOFIX child seat-anchoring points in the Double Cab.
For extra storage on journeys, the King Cab model has under-seat storage.
To make the drive easier, there are dual zone climate control, heated door mirrors and cruise control with speed limiter. There is also a drive computer, electric front and rear windows (front only in King Cab) and six speakers for excellent sound quality. It is also possible to connect your iPod via USB in the Acenta so you can listen to all your favourite tunes.
The Tekna model comes in Double Cab version only and features everything mentioned in the Acenta roundup. There are some neat additional features including chrome power folding mirrors with indicator/puddle lamp, pop-up headlamp washers, rear privacy glass and roof rails.
Inside the cab, luxury is the name of the game, with graphite leather seats, and heated front seats – perfect on a cold winter’s morning. The driver’s seat has power adjust and the footwell is illuminated, making a big difference on dark mornings or evenings. There are also aluminium front door entry guards for added protection.
You can have the controls for your music at your fingertips with steering wheel controls, and this pickup thinks for itself – with rain-sensing windscreen wipers and automatic headlamps. The rear view mirror also features auto dim.
You can also notch up the technology in your pickup with some optional extras at additional cost -– Nissan Connect premium, for example, includes a 7in touchscreen, HDD satellite navigation, HDD music server, DVD movie playback and rear parking camera.
The OutlawV6 also comes only in Double Cab design and has all the features of the Tekna, plus some additional highlights.
When it comes to what’s under the hood you get 3.0 dCi V6 231 PS/550Nm plus a seven-speed auto transmission. There are five 18in alloy wheels and an electric sunroof.
For entertainment and communication while you’re driving, the Outlaw V6 features Nissan Connect Premium, which includes a 7in touchscreen, HDD Satellite navigation and HDD music server. Your iPod can be connected via USB and there is DVD movie playback, as well as a BOSE speaker system for top audio quality.
