Four new pickup trucks were launched at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2016 and the one on the Fiat Professional stand caused lots of interest. The Fiat Fullback marks the Italian brand's entry into the European pickup market and will be on sale in June 2016.
Fiat joins the pickup truck sector with the Fullback
The Fullback is powered by a 2.4-litre diesel engine with 150 or 180hp outputs, matched to a six-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed automatic. The Fullback will be offered as a double-cab, with a payload of 1,045kg.
There's two trim levels, as Fiat bids to take a slice of the UK pickup market which saw 40,558 registrations in 2015.
It's safety first with the new Toyota Hilux
The Toyota Hilux is an established pickup and now into its eighth generation. For the first time, the Hilux will be available with Toyota Safety Sense in the UK. This includes a range of driver assistance features, such as pre-collision and warning systems.
The Hilux keeps getting better and better
The towing ability of the Hilux has improved, with a maximum of 3.5 tonnes set to be achievable by the end of the year with the latest model. It can currently tow up to 3.2 tonnes.
The Hilux will be available as a single, extra or double cab. Toyota's new 2.4-litre global diesel engine is under the bonnet and a new six-speed manual transmission or automatic gearbox can be selected.
A limited edition Isuzu D-Max Centurion

It celebrates the Japanese manufacturer's 100 years of vehicle production and the Centurion is a limited edition - with just 100 going on sale.

Isuzu's second launch was the new Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35. It's designed for tough terrain and building sites. There's a double-cab and an extended-cab version.
Arctic Trucks is a vehicle engineering specialist, developing and building 4x4 vehicles to conquer challenging conditions. The AT35 retains the impressive one-tonne payload and is capable of towing up to 3.5-tonnes.
Mitsubishi takes safety to the next level with Super Select 4-Wheel Drive
Mitsubishi released the latest upgrade to their L200 pickup during the middle of last year and safety has been a key feature. It comes with Super Select 4-Wheel Drive, so you can drive in 4x4 mode on or off road, all whilst towing a load. This option is ideal if you're driving in wet conditions.
