New figures have revealed that an increasing number of motorists are turning to long-term car and van leasing, which may interest Isuzu Rodeo drivers.
According to research carried out by the Finance and Leasing Association (FLA), in the second quarter of 2011 the value of leases for private hire vehicles rose by 55 per cent compared with the same period last year.
During this time, more than £100 million was granted to customers leasing cars, compared with just £66 million in 2010.
Commenting on the findings, head of the FLA's Motor Finance Paul Harrison said: "Traditionally, leasing has been more popular with businesses, but many manufacturers and independent finance companies are offering new and improved leasing options to private customers."
He added that increasing numbers of people are turning to leasing as an affordable alternative to purchasing a vehicle.
In 2009, FLA members completed £72.5 billion worth of new business with £16.5 billion of this focused on motor finance, according to the FLA.
