Many auction houses have reported that the recent spate of cold weather seems to have contributed to an increase in the secondhand values of quality and well specified pickup trucks. Double cab pickup values are particularly bouyant.
Demand is also seen to be linked to increased optimism in the housing market, as a growing number of contractors and builders are now resurrecting projects that had been put on hold during the worst of the recession.
