Drivers of leased and contract hired pickup trucks have been urged to be cautious after the recent heavy downpours in the UK.
One of the country's leading roadside breakdown and assistance companies, Mondail Assistance UK, has pointed out the neccessity of preparation and checking the condition of a drivers vehicle, following the long, hot dry spell experienced across much of Britain.
Drivers are urged to check the condition of their tyres, and ensure there is more than the minimum depth of tread. Worn tyres can be very dangerous in the wet as the vehicle soon loses its grip on the road
