It has been announced that a new model Toyota Hilux pickup will be launched for the 2012 season that features a fresh look and hi-tech features.
The vehicle will go on sale in October and has been restyled in order to provide a more car-like feel.
A new bonnet, headlamps, radiator grille and bumper are among the modifications, along with modern wheel designs, side bars and steps.
Other features include the new Toyota Touch multimedia unit, which has a full colour 6.1-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth and a USB port for musical devices.
Adjustment to the engine means CO2 emissions have been cut by more than ten per cent and fuel consumption has improved by the same amount.
Meanwhile, the standard five-speed manual transmission and the optional five-speed automatic have been retained.
All of the Toyota Hilux models come with AM/FM radio and a CD player as standard, with an optional extra of an iPod integration kit.
