Companies that lease Isuzu Rodeo pickup trucks for their employees to use may be interested in a new tool that has been launched.
RoadSafe and Essential Risk Consultancy has today (June 23rd) unveiled the Business Driving Toolkit that allows businesses to manage their duty of care towards staff who drive for work.
The technology is designed to give fleet managers, senior management and transport managers access to Health and Safety Executive regulations and requirements.
Adrian Walsh, director of Roadsafe and the Driving for Better Business campaign, said: "A third of road traffic crashes involve business drivers. Managing that risk is often left to fleet managers and the people element is ignored."
He added that the Toolkit provides firms with an "easy way" to understand what needs to be communicated to employees and what steps need to be taken to meet legislation.
According to RoadSafe, occupational road risk is one of the most significant issues in the UK, with 25,000 serious injuries thought to be sustained each year.
