The Department for Transport (DfT) has announced plans to review the second phase of the Humber Bridge, news which may interest Isuzu Rodeodrivers.
Transport Minister Norman Baker and Economic Secretary to the Treasury Justine Greening revealed that the initiative will see local residents and businesses consulted on the future of the access route.
Ms Greening said: "A long-term sustainable solution is needed and this is why the Chancellor and I are working alongside the Department for Transport to look at options to deliver this essential reform."
The government also announced it plans to allow the Humber Bridge Board to increase toll fees in order to help it raise more funding.
Meanwhile, a reduced interest rate will continue to be offered so that the board can save £48 million over the next five years.
In a separate announcement, the DfT recently revealed it would be giving councils in London greater power to coordinate road works in order to reduce traffic congestion.
