Ford Ranger drivers may be interested to hear that Ford has been presented with three Used Car Awards from What Car? magazine.
The manufacturer's Fiesta, Mondeo and S-MAX models were all recognised by the publication for their practicality, price and features.
Those looking to purchase a small car were advised to opt for a 1.25-litre Ford Fiesta Style+, which was noted as being good value for money.
What Car? said: "The Fiesta is genuinely entertaining to drive, quiet and smooth, well specified and roomy, which means it suits most small car buyers perfectly."
Meanwhile, the Mondeo was named Best Used Family Car, with the four-year-old 2.0-litre model TDCi Zetec recommended in particular.
Finally, the S-MAX was praised for its tight body control, sharp steering and nimble handling.
Ford is currently celebrating 80 years of production at its Dagenham plant, which is its largest facility in the UK, having taken 28 months to build.
