Individuals looking to lease Isuzu Rodeo pickup trucks may be interested in one expert's comments about electric cars.
Alistair Rhead, electric vehicle manager at Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, described how such models may be ideal for those who commute in and out of cities.
"The benefit to city drivers is that the distances that they travel day-in, day-out might mean that electric vehicles fit into their lifestyles easier," he stated.
Those living in London may be particularly interested in driving such a car, as they are exempt from the congestion charge.
It was suggested that electric vehicles can help people to save money, while benefiting the environment at the same time.
Mr Rhead was speaking at the EcoVelocity 2011 event, which took place in the grounds of Battersea Power Station between September 8th and 11th.
Attendees were able to test-drive and learn about the latest low-carbon vehicles that were showcased at the motor festival.
