Nissan Navara drivers may be interested to hear about the government's move to map the country's charge points for motorists.
Transport minister Norman Baker and business minister Mark Prisk announced manufacturer POD Point is to create a National Chargepoint Registry that will be publicly accessible.
Mr Baker explained how the initiative will help promote use of plug-in vehicles and reassure those considering making the switch to electric cars and vans.
"There is no doubt that low-carbon vehicles are here to stay. We will continue to work with industry to create a world-leading charging network that really reflects the needs of its users," the minister stated.
The scheme will be created alongside the Central Whitelist, which will make it easier for motorists to access chargepoints without having to sign up to new systems when they visit different locations.
Elsewhere, it was recently announced by transport secretary Philip Hammond that a consultation looking at raising the national speed limit on motorways from 70mph to 80mph is to take place.
