A recent study from What Car? Magazine has concluded that over 50% of Britain's 33 million motorists would fail their driving test if they had to take it again tomorrow.
While drivers of leased and contract hire pickup trucks may have confidence in their driving skills, researchers for the magazine found that 40% of the volunteers who took place in the experiment committed errors so bad that they would have been failed on the spot by any examiner.
The road safety charity Brake, stated that 'drivers ought to be tested on a regular basis throughout their driving career'.
